Linda Hua Zhou, MD, FAAD, Medical Director

Dr. Zhou is the founder and physician at Coastal Dermatology and Cosmetic Center. Dr. Zhou has 20 years of experience as a board-certified dermatologist. She completed her dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI. Preceding that, she completed a surgical internship at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, NY. She specializes in general medical and procedural dermatology but also particularly loves her cosmetic practice. She is thrilled at the opportunity to make a client happy by using injectable aesthetics. She believes the best part of her job is caring for individuals!

In her spare time, you can find her on the golf course. (Of course, while protecting her skin from the sun). She is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to new destinations to play. On bad weather days, you can find her with her family.  

Su Luo, MD, FAAD, FACMS, Surgical Director

Dr. Luo is a Harvard-trained, double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. She believes in creating an individualized approach for each client to enhance one's natural appearance.

She was previously the Director of Dermatologic Surgery and teaching faculty at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA. During this time, she also provided cosmetic dermatology services at the Lahey cosmetic center in Lexington, MA.

Dr. Luo specializes in cosmetic dermatology including injectable aesthetics such as beauty ‘tox and filler, as well as procedural dermatology. She loves helping clients look and feel rejuvenated by using noninvasive treatments and technologies. 

In her spare time, Dr. Luo spoils her cat and cherishes time spent outdoors with her family on stroller hikes.

Alicia Vatter, FNP-C

Alicia Vatter is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Dermatology, and cosmetic injectables.

Alicia completed 1:1 aesthetics training with Dr. Zhou and has undergone multiple continuing education courses and trainings in topics related to injectables.

She is passionate about helping her clients enhance their own beauty and self-esteem through aesthetic injectables.

In today’s society where social media and appearances are a driving force of how we look at ourselves in the mirror, it is important to realize that we don’t need to change everything about ourselves but rather enhance upon the beauty that is already there.  In her spare time, Alicia can be found spending time with her husband & 2 dogs or with her nose in a book.

Kristin Gaucher, Licensed Aesthetician

Kristin has been a Licensed Medical Aesthetician since 2000 and a valuable member of our talented team of specialists since 2002. Kristin's primary goal with both new and longtime clients is to educate them on proper skincare, guiding them through the selection of treatments that are best suited for their individual needs and desires.

Kristin's extensive experience, combined with ongoing training on newer and ever-advancing technologies, has broadened her skill set and knowledge of skin treatments to the great benefit of her many clients.

She is certified in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, waxing, facials, brow and lash tinting, DermaPen treatments, and a wide range of laser technology therapies. These include the removal of excess hair, tattoos, freckles and birthmarks; acne and surgical scar revisions; the elimination of vascular lesions; and treatments to repair pigmentation and sun damage, and correct uneven skin texture and tone. When not working, Kristin enjoys Bikram Yoga, cooking, baking and knitting.

Jennifer Amaral, Licensed Aesthetician

Jenny received her aesthetician license in 2003 and became a Certified Aesthetic Medical Specialist and a proud member of the Medical Esthetics Professional Association in 2005. She is licensed in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

At the time jenny joined our team in 2009, Jenny was already an accomplished laser technician. She now has over 15 years of experience perfecting her skills.

Jenny's passion, skill and attention to cosmetic detail cover a wide range of expertise. She specializes in chemical peels and is certified for the various laser technologies we offer to treat a variety of skin conditions, including the remediation of acne and surgical scars, vascular lesions, blood vessel growths, rosacea, pigmentation and sun damage, uneven skin texture/tone, the removal of tattoos, port wine stains, birthmarks, and unwanted hair. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, paddle boarding, Pilates and spending time with her family.

Desiree Perez, Licensed Aesthetician

Desiree has worked as aesthetician for over 14 years, and is also a certified medical assistant. She is well experienced in a wide range of clinical and spa services, specializing in custom facial chemical peels, dermaplaning, HydraFacials, laser hair removal, micro-needling, lash and brow tinting, and waxing.

Desiree's wealth of training and skill, combined with her attention to detail, is evident in the results she achieves with all the treatments she administers. She is passionate about skin care and educating her clients. Helping and guiding them down the path of achieving their skin care goals is what she loves most about her job at Coastal Derm MediSpa.

In her personal time, Desiree cherishes her visits to New York City. She has a love for the performing arts, especially ballet.

Minah Campos, Professional Makeup Artist

Min-Ah is a licensed permanent makeup artist who specializes in Ombré Eyebrows. 

She began her creative career as a painter, earning a degree in Art in the Republic of Korea, South Korea and then a few years later, graduating  Makeup Design for Film & Television at VFS (Vancouver Film School), in Vancouver, Canada. 

With a background in fine art and detailed drawing, the permanent makeup industry combined Minah’s  entrepreneurial mindset and inner artist with a unique profession.

Her uncompromising professionalism and attention to detail, as an artist, ensure that all her clients receive first class service and outstanding results to look their best.
