Halo is the ultimate laser treatment. Improve pigmentation, wrinkles, pores, texture, and UV damage.
What results can I expect?
Halo is a complete skin rejuvenation treatment. You will see improvements in the overall tone and texture in addition to significant removal of discoloration, reduction in fine lines, reduced pore size, skin reflectivity and glow.
How many treatments do you need?
What is great about Halo is that you can choose how many treatments you want. Discuss with you clinician your needs and you can choose to have one or two aggressive treatments or have multiple treatments that are less aggressive and achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time.
What happens during the treatment?
Thirty minutes to an hour prior to the treatment we will place a topical numbing cream on your skin to reduce the sensation during the treatment. Our Providers will then measure your face with motion tracking technology to ensure your face is treated evenly. Each section of your face will be treated by rolling the Halo handpiece in a crisscross pattern until the system recognizes the treatment is complete.
What does Halo feel like?
With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, most patients experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment a feeling of heat with an occasional prickling sensation, but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, most patients continue to feel warm for an additional 1-3 hours.
Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?
Absolutely. For the first 24 hours you should keep your skin protected according to Dr. Sesslar's instructions, but after that you should be able to return to your normal activities. After the first 24 hours, your skin will begin to become rough and flaky, but you will be able to put on makeup. For this treatment, you will see very little change on the first day. After two to three days you will develop a light bronzing appearance. By day three or four your skin will peel, revealing your new skin underneath.
When will I see results?
You will see initial results between two to five days after your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues for months.
How long will my results last?
Continued maintenance is important for lasting results. Initial treatments we would recommend 2-3 in the 1st year. Each additional Halo treatment you get will only improve the results, giving you even better-looking skin. You should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using a medical grade sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin.
