About Anu Kothari, MD

Obstetrician and gynecologist Anu Kothari, MD, opened Comprehensive OB/GYN Healthcare, PC to provide personal care to her patients with minimal outside interference. At the state-of-the-art office in Hicksville, New York, Dr. Kothari and the team use evidence-based medicine to diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological concerns, including infertility, menstrual irregularities, and PCOS.

Dr. Kothari completed her medical education from King George Medical School, located in Lucknow, India. She then relocated to the United States and did her residency in OB/GYN at Virginia Commonwealth University and Beth Israel, located in Newark, New Jersey.

After completing her medical training, Dr. Kothari spent the next 40 years providing OB/GYN care in various settings throughout Long Island and Queens before opening her own practice.

Dr. Kothari is very passionate about providing OB/GYN care to underprivileged communities. She spends her free time providing free care to underprivilged women in rural villages in India.

At Comprehensive OB/GYN Healthcare, PC, Dr. Kothari prioritizes whole-body approaches to care, integrating diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to treat her patients. The office accepts all major insurances, speaks several languages, offers Saturday and evening hours, and provides telemedicine appointments.
