Learn Who We Are

  • Dr.
    David N. Croop
    Doctor

I became interested in dentistry while undergoing several dental procedures as a teenager. As a result of those experiences, I have developed a unique practice style and philosophy. In the 28 years, I have been practicing dentistry, I enjoy the long-term relationships with many patients that I have cared for, some for the three decades I've been practicing. I am very interested in learning from continuing education opportunities. When I am out of the office, I enjoy teaching and advising colleagues in various study clubs, and working with the residents at The University Hospital of Cincinnati Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.

    Doctor

I was raised just south of Cincinnati in Union, KY. My wife and I live there now, raising one daughter and spoiling one dog. I graduated from the University of Kentucky, and then completed the 'Triangle' by attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Following graduation, I came home to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University Hospital in Cincinnati-where I met and worked with Dr Croop.

    Bob Bertsch
    Doctor

While growing up in Reading, Ohio, I lived across the street from my dentist, Dr. Richard Matre. Because of this, Dr. Matre became a source of inspiration and was an excellent role model to a young Bob Bertsch, who was becoming increasingly interested in mechanical endeavors. Later on, I was able to incorporate that interest with a desire to work in health care in my pursuit of a career in dentistry.

What Our Clients Say About Us

  • "I am happy to say, I love my dentist. Never thought I'd be saying that, but I am. Dr. Gosnell is great. Down to earth, real, caring and most important, trustworthy. The staff here is fantastic."
    Traci Krall
  • "The entire team at Mt. Lookout Dentistry is outstanding. The genuine approach to meeting my needs, educating me on things and presenting a wonderful experience has been great. I've seen Dr. Croop for decades and he and his team as truly made a difference in my dental experience."
    Craig Kurz
  • "The perfect dental team by far. From simple cleaning (not so simple in their case though, as they are super thorough and careful) to more serious dental work, there are not enough words to describe the excellent quality, high standards and results of Mt. Lookout Dentistry. In case the above were not enough to make a client happy, the atmosphere is always amazing, full of positive energy and people who are polite and smiling not because they have to but because this is how they are and apparently they love what they do. Conclusion: I cannot recommend them enough and I couldn't be happier with my dental care team."
    George Komiotis
  • "I enjoy going to Mt. Lookout Dentistry every time that I go. Everyone there is very friendly and kind. They do a great job with my teeth and make sure it is gently done. My entire family has switched to go to this dentist office because we all like it here so much. I highly recommend this Dentist office!"
