Aretha has been a dental assistant since 2013 and she absolutely loves what she does. She is a lifelong resident of Muskegon. She is a wife, and mother of three beautiful children. Outside of dentistry, she participates in her local church, sings in the community choir, and enjoys spending time with her family.

Laurie has been with Horizons Dental since 1996. She enjoys patient care and seeing families' happy, healthy smiles. She served in the United States Navy in Yokosuka, Japan where she met her husband who was a United States Marine. They were married in Tokyo; both served their time and moved back to Muskegon in the 1980's. They have 4 children, 5 grandchildren and a dog named Bo.

Jennifer is a 1991 graduate of Ferris State University with an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Dental Assisting. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and Certified Dental Assistant since 1991. She has been with Horizons Dental since April 2004. Jennifer is a lifelong resident of Muskegon. She and her husband Eric have one daughter; Jenna. She is a Baritone/Euphonium player with the West Michigan Concert WINDS; traveling with the group both home and abroad. Jennifer also enjoys knitting, camping, and cooking.

Leah has been a dental hygienist at Horizons Dental since graduating from Ferris State University in 2006. As a dental hygienist, she enjoys building relationships with patients while helping them maintain optimal oral health. Leah also enjoys using her dental skills in the community through her involvement in mission trips and school presentations. She likes to spend her time outside the office with her husband and three young children.

Valerie graduated from Ferris State University in 2011 with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined Horizons Dental in 2012. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and caring for their dental needs. Valerie was born and raised in Marne. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time at her family’s cottage!  They welcomed their first son in December 2019.
