Dr. Goodman has been practicing Dermatology in Murfreesboro since 1974. A native of Franklin County, TN, he grew up milking cows near Penile Hill community on a Decherd route. A National Merit Scholar at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN, he graduated with honors in Chemistry. After getting an MD at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, he completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Grady Hospital (Emory University) in Atlanta, GA. His residency in Dermatology was completed at the Medical College of Georgia. He is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Dr. Goodman is a member of The American Academy of Dermatology, Tennessee Medical Association, Tennessee Dermatology Society, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Goodman has been president of the Rutherford County Medical Society, the Nashville Dermatology Society, and the Middle Tennessee Medical Society.
Dr. Goodman and his wife Delia live on her farm in Milton, TN. With help of 5 adult children and 11 grandchildren, they raise Polled Hereford cattle, laying hens, and fainting goats.
