Welcome to Nielsen Dermatology!

Timothy A. Nielsen, M.D. and staff would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continued support. After serving the South Florida community in a group dermatology practice for over 16 years, Dr. Nielsen began his solo private practice in 2013 with a focus on general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and dermatopathology and a special emphasis on the treatment of skin cancer. We deliver excellent medical care for all your skin care needs.

At Nielsen Dermatology you will be greeted promptly by a friendly doctor and staff where your health care is a priority!

This website is dedicated to the local titans of dermatology: Milton Heard, Vernon Carter, Louis T. Nielsen, James Barrett and Kenneth Folsom, who cared for dermatology patients at the original Dermatology Associates of Boynton Beach over the last 45 years. I knew every one of these physicians personally and was given a tremendous opportunity to practice with them. Their retirement and/or passing ushered in a new era for me. I am deeply grateful to all of those physicians and look forward to caring for you at Nielsen Dermatology. Our practice offers patients a full line of general dermatology services and treatments, and also is home to a skilled dermatopathologist who can assist in the diagnosis of skin cancer from skin biopsies
