The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is a professional organization committed to promoting the physical, mental and social health and well-being of all infants, children, adolescents and young adults. The AAP develops policy and guidelines to help pediatricians deliver the highest level of care. Healthy Children is a website for parents, developed by the AAP.

The Child Mind Institute provides information and resources for families and children with mental health and learning differences.  

Lyme Disease

Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses are an important health topic in our community. Accurate information regarding prevention, transmission, and treatment of lyme disease is available through the Westchester County Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.

Safety and Injury Prevention

  • Concussions: CDC Heads Up will help you recognize, respond to, and minimize the risk of concussion or other serious brain injury
