Dr. Heather Hearon, a native of Tucson, Arizona, brings a unique blend of athletic discipline and professional excellence to her thriving dental career. A collegiate swimmer at the University of California, San Diego, she competed at the Division II Regional and National levels, excelling in freestyle events and team relays. Her passion for dentistry emerged during her active involvement with the UCSD Pre-Dental Society and its Volunteer Dental Clinics, where she rose to Clinic Manager of the downtown location, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Dr. Hearon earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2011, graduating at the top of her class. She then relocated to Maui to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Captivated by the island’s beauty and community, she chose to make Maui her permanent home.

With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Hearon continues to find joy and fulfillment in her work. She is deeply committed to creating personalized care plans, emphasizing a patient-centered approach that focuses on building trust and achieving individual goals. “Dentistry isn’t just about teeth—it’s about connecting with people and helping them smile, inside and out,” she says.

A leader in her field, Dr. Hearon is a past President and current member of the Maui County Dental Society. She actively participates in the Maui Postgraduate Dental Forum, an affiliate of the prestigious Seattle Study Club, and is a proud member of the American Dental Association and Hawaii Dental Association.

Her dedication to excellence has not gone unnoticed—she was recently voted Best Dentist of 2024, a testament to her skill, compassion, and impact on her community.
