Corinne Erickson, M.D.

Corinne Erickson, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist specializing in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Native to Georgia, Dr. Erickson grew up in Macon prior to venturing to Stanford University for her undergraduate degree and the University of Rochester for medical school. She attended the University of Maryland for her intern year in internal medicine and her dermatology residency. Prior to joining Georgia Skin Specialists, Dr. Erickson was in private practice for 5 years in Atlanta and 3 years in Dallas.   She is thrilled to be back home in Atlanta.  Throughout her career, Dr. Erickson has published numerous articles in esteemed dermatologic journals on subjects including melanoma, skin cancer treatment, drug rashes, and molluscum.

Dr. Erickson enjoys providing excellent dermatologic care to both pediatric and adult patients. Having lost her grandmother to melanoma, she is especially dedicated to skin cancer surveillance, education, and treatment. From worrisome growths to chronic conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, Dr. Erickson is committed to educating her patients about their diagnosis and working with them to design a treatment plan that fits their condition and lifestyle.  She also has a special interest in patch testing to diagnose and treat allergic contact dermatitis.

Dr. Erickson believes that dermatology is as much of an art as it is a science. She customizes anti-aging strategies for her patients using the latest in fillers and injectables.  She works with her patients to curate individualized skin care regimens that capture what she calls “The 3 P’s”: Protect, Prevent, and Polish.

In her free time, Dr. Erickson loves spending time with her family: her husband, two children, and Winston the Goldendoodle.  An outdoor enthusiast, you may see her running on the Beltline, playing tennis, or walking Winston around Piedmont Park.  And of course, she is wearing sunscreen.
