Dear Patients and Visitors,

COVID-19 is in the news everywhere, and we are closely monitoring the situation. At John R. Strief D.D.S., our main goal has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team, and our community. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, our office hours are changing. In the coming weeks, we will be open one day per week for essential treatment and on call for emergencies. Our office is now open.

We already, as a daily practice, assure universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Safety is always our number one focus. Our high standard of care ensures that your trust and safety are never compromised. Here are some more details you should know:

If you have a dental emergency, please contact us and we’ll take care of you. If you’re in pain, have a broken tooth or an abscess, please email or call 319-337-2241.

If you have essential ongoing treatment with us, we will keep you on the schedule or re-appoint your treatment as needed. We will be reaching out to each of you individually as these weeks progress.

In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the building and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

Please do not make an office visit without a scheduled appointment. If you do have a scheduled appointment, please do not bring other people with you. We are making it a point to only have one visiting patient at any given time.

You can be assured safety measures at John R. Strief D.D.S. will continue to evolve as more information develops. Stay well, hydrate, eat nutritiously, and get plenty of sleep. We wish you all good health.
