Dr. Khawam, a Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon, provides all aspects of foot care. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and ankle disorders. She has the qualifications and medical interest to treat:

Vickey , a bilingual, certified medical assistant, joined our office in 2006. When you call the office, Vickey will often be the one answering the telephone and scheduling your appointments, and she will be the one who welcomes you when you arrive at the office.

Her primary responsibilities are related to patient care including diabetic shoe fitting, wound care, casting for orthotics, physical therapy, and assisting the doctor in procedures. She is a certified x-ray technician as well.  She also performs sterile pedicures.

Grace , a bilingual certified medical assistant, joined A Step Above Foot Care in 2010. She assists in direct patient care including wound care, casting for orthotics, physical therapy, answering the telephones, and assists in filing.  She also performs sterile pedicures.

Giselle , a certified medical assistant, joined A Step Above Foot Care in 2014.  She helps with direct patient care, including performing the MLS laser, Neurogenx, casting for orthotics, assisting in office surgeries and wound care.  She also performs sterile pedicures

Araceli , a certified medical assistant, joined our office in 2017.  She helps with direct patient care, including casting for orthotics, assisting in office surgeries, wound care, performing the MLS laser and Neurogenix.  She also performs sterile pedicures.

Nathalie , a certified medical assistant, joined our office 2017. She helps with direct patient care, including casting for orthotics,assisting in office surgeries, wound care, performing the MLS laser and Neurogenix.  She also performs sterile pedicures.

Jocelyn, a certified medical assistant, joined our office 2017. She helps with direct patient care, including casting/scanning for orthotics, performs MLS laser treatments and Neurogenx.  She also performs sterile pedicures.

Chantel is our biller.  She joined our office in 2017. She also helps out at the reception desk.

Joel is a medical assistant and joined our office in 2019.  He helps with direct patient care, including casting/scanning for orthotics, performs MLS laser treatments, and Neurogenx.  He also performs sterile pedicures.

Daniel is a medical assistant and joined our office in 2019.  He helps with direct patient care, including casting/scanning for orthotics, performs MLS laser treatments, and Neurogenx.  He also performs sterile pedicures.

Preston joined our office in 2020.  He assists in organization activities of the office.
