Your baby has arrived! Congratulations! About 1-2 days after you are discharged from the hospital, you and your baby will have your first appointment with us. During this visit, we will check your baby’s weight and feeding, check for any signs of jaundice, and answer any of your questions.

At this appointment, we will check your baby’s physical conditions and provide immunizations. They will be able to sit up for short periods and begin to move around. Baby-proofing the home is highly encouraged. We will also screen for any postpartum depression.

At this appointment, we will check your baby’s physical conditions. They will be standing with assistance and crawling rapidly, ensure the child’s environment is free of harmful objects within reaching distance. Your baby’s first teeth will be appearing and seeing a dentist in the coming months is recommended.
During this appointment, we will check your baby’s physical conditions and provide immunizations. They will be transitioning from breastmilk/formula to whole milk, from bottle to sippy cup. A change in the car seat style will be necessary as well.

During this appointment, we will check your baby’s physical conditions and provide immunizations. They will be up and running, caution and child-proofing is recommended.
This appointment is not required unless your provider requested a follow-up appointment during this time. Your child has now entered their toddler years. We will check their physical conditions, discuss diets, and measure their development using the ASQ screening.

At this appointment, we will check your child’s physical and dental conditions. At this age, they will begin to read and pick up on things. Educational and imaginative books, creative games, and toys are recommended.

At this age, your child’s learning has drastically increased and they will begin to show independence. A regular routine and bedtime is important and recommended. During this appointment, we will check your child’s physical and dental conditions. Topics such as speech and development, diet, and possibly kindergarten will be discussed.
During this appointment, we will check your child’s physical conditions, along with hearing and vision. Your child will need a good eleven hours of sleep each night to go to school and complete homework. It is important to work with them and teach them about safety around the home.
During this appointment, we will check your baby’s physical conditions, along with hearing and vision. We will also discuss topics such as school performance, activities, and sleeping. It will be important to encourage them and build their confidence.

At this appointment, we will check your child’s physical and developmental conditions. They will start to be more independent and taking on their own responsibilities at this age.
Your child is now a teenager! They will be entering their middle school years and conversations about healthy lifestyle habits are recommended. During this appointment, we will check your child’s physical conditions (complete school physicals), screen per AAP recommendations, and discuss puberty.

During this appointment, we will check your teen’s physical conditions and discuss safety in sports (if participating). As they have transitioned to high school, conversations about healthy choices and behaviors are recommended, as well as any necessary screenings.
Your child is now an adult! They will still require some guidance and support, but will be on their own for the most part. During this appointment, we will check their physical conditions, discuss the next stages of life, and begin the transition to a primary care physician.
