Emily brings 15 yrs of Pediatric Nursing experience to Kid Approved Pediatrics with the last 9 years as a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and our very own onsite Lactation Consultant. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B. S. in Child Development. She received a B.S. in Nursing from Columbia and her Masters of Nursing from UCLA.

Dr. Huang was born in Taiwan and moved to Oregon at the age of five. Dr. Huang earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from The University of Washington. She remained in Seattle to obtain her Medical Degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Huang then carried out her Pediatric training at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital in California. She practiced in California for 15 years before moving to Texas in 2017.

Currently she resides in Frisco, with her husband and daughter.

Angelica who prefers to be called Angie, was born and raised in El Paso, TX. She attended The University of Texas at Austin in 2003-2004 to pursue an education in Law, but quickly realized nursing was where she belonged. She transferred to the University of Texas at El Paso to complete her BSN in 2008. During her 15 years of nursing, Angie worked in areas from premature infants in the NICU, community health nursing as a school nurse, pediatric case management, and pediatric hospice care. She returned to graduate school at the University of Texas at El Paso to further her education and profession as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Angie graduated in 2022 with her Masters degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care and obtained her CPNP-PC certification. Although Angie is very passionate about wanting to give back, as a nurse and nurse practitioner, to her home town of El Paso, she has chosen to move to the North Dallas area with her husband and two children. She continues to be chairman of her High School graduating class's non-profit organization and scholarship fund. The scholarship fund raises money to give back to graduates of her high school alma mater who are of economic need and who aspire to succeed and attend college. Angie is married to her high school sweetheart, a Marine and Iraq War Veteran, now a Journeyman Lineman working in the DFW area. She has two children, a son and a daughter and two dogs. She is very passionate and believes that healthy children come with managing the 'whole' child to include a child's education, physical health, mental health, safety, environment, and family/community. Not only does Angie have experience professionally with child ADHD and anxiety, but in her personal life, as her own child has struggled with these issues as well.
