Gracie has over 20 years of experience working with mothers and their babies as a maternity healthcare professional. Her passion to help mothers and their newborns meet their breastfeeding goals grew from her own breastfeeding experience and challenges with her daughter. Amazingly, 30 years later she had the pleasure of helping her daughter breastfeed her own daughter.
Helping to empower mothers through support, encouragement, education and guidance in their transition into motherhood and their breastfeeding journey is incredibly fulfilling for Gracie. Witnessing and being a small part of the incredible loving bond between mother and child during a breastfeeding session is extremely rewarding and the very reason for her passion.
Gracie completed her lactation education and training at the University of California San Diego in 2018. After a 20 year career on the Maternal Child Health unit with Scripps Mercy Hospital, she is excited to join and work alongside the exceptional group of pediatricians at Children's Healthcare Medical Associates.
She has loved watching her daughter grow into a wonderful loving woman, wife to her amazing son in-law and two adorably sweet granddaughters and one grand pup. Gracie enjoys home decorating, sewing, gardening, but most importantly spending time with her granddaughters.
