Emma G. Hanrahan, PA-C
Emma Hanrahan joined the PAWC team in February of 2020. She received a Bachelor’s of Science of Medical Studies and Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. While taking an accelerated course load, she played for the collegiate volleyball team and club rugby team.
As a requirement for the Physician Assistant Program, she completed 8 rotations in various fields of medicine including Pediatrics, Behavioral health, Women’s health, and General Surgery amongst others. Emma knew she wanted to study pediatric medicine when she entered college and selected a specialty rotation in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology which she completed at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Emma lives with her pet hedgehog, Pongo. In her free time, she enjoys going out for brunch, spending time with her friends and parents, playing volleyball, and paddle boarding.
