That’s why we take a proactive, comprehensive, and preventive approach to dentistry, and why we take your oral exams and screenings so seriously. When you keep your regular exams, we can screen for early signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, TMJ, and tooth decay.

We use the latest technology, such as intraoral cameras, Cavitron®, digital x-rays, Oral CDX Brush Bio®, and ViziLite® for oral cancer screening. These tools let you and Dr. Mitchmore see what is happening in your mouth with much more detail and accuracy than dental films alone. This technology can also detect problems before they’re noticeable on traditional x-rays or visible to the naked eye.
