BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is commonly used to reduce or eliminate the
appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas
surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow’s feet, frown
and worry lines, and lines on the neck. Made from a purified protein,
BOTOX® relaxes wrinkles and gives the face a rejuvenated
look. BOTOX® may also be useful for migraine headaches,
excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms.
XEOMIN®
XEOMIN® is an FDA approved treatment often utilized to
eliminate the appearance of frown lines. It consists of a purified
neurotoxin that temporarily reduces muscle activity that can lead to the
formation of wrinkles after many years. XEOMIN® is injected
into the skin to relieve lines between the eyebrows, around the eyes,
and various other areas resulting in a more youthful look.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Juvéderm® Injectable Gel
Juvéderm is an
FDA-approved smooth consistency gel capable of restoring volume to the
skin while smoothing away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
This injection is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring
substance in the skin that adds volume and hydration. But unlike other
hyaluronic acid fillers, which usually have granular consistencies,
Juvéderm is easily injected into the skin and produces immediate,
natural-looking results.
There are several types of Juvéderm fillers used at our office including Juvederm Ultra, Ultra Plus, Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella. It is recommended that patients schedule a consultation with one of our doctors to receive a customized treatment plan that best fits their cosmetic needs.
Restylane®
Restylane®
is designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours.
It is a clear, synthetic gel made with hyaluronic acid, a natural
substance that is found throughout your body. It carries little risk of
allergic reaction. The most common areas for treatment are the glabellar
lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of
the nose to the angle of your mouth). With its unique ability to bind
with water, Restylane remains in your skin for many months.
Belotero®
Belotero is the latest of the FDA approved
hyaluronic acid form of dermal filler available today. It has
a unique ability to integrate with the tissues of your skin, which can
reduce lines and wrinkles while enhancing your own facial contours.
There are different formulations of Belotero available, making it ideal to improve a wide variety of skin issues. This filler can treat frown lines between the eyebrows, periorbital lines (crow’s feet), nasolabial folds from the nose to the corners of the mouth, perioral lines and marionette lines from the corners of the mouth to the jaw. In addition, it can round the cheekbones, plump the lips, restore softness to the hands and décolletage and more.
RHA®Resilient Hyaluronic Acid, or RHA filler, is designed to adapt to your facial movements to create a smooth and natural appearance. The developers use a gentle manufacturing process to make hyaluronic acid that more closely resembles what the skin produces naturally.
This filler has a variety of uses due to the diversity of the collection. Our office uses the RHA Redensity, RHA 2, RHA 3, and RHA 4, depending on the doctor's recommendation for your needs. These fillers can improve dynamic perioral rhytids and facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, lip lines and wrinkles, and more.
Calcium Hydroxylapatite Fillers
Radiesse®
Radiesse® is a synthetic filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)
microspheres in a water-based gel. These microspheres stimulate the
production of collagen by your body, restoring volume and contour to the
treated areas of your face. Radiesse is generally recommended to treat
deeper wrinkles of the face. It is a safe filler that produces immediate
results that can last for a year and sometimes even longer with touch-up
treatments.
Alpha Hydroxy Acid Fillers
Sculptra®
Sculptra® counteracts the loss of fat beneath the skin (a
condition called lipoatrophy). Sculptra® is injected into the
deep dermis layer of the skin to improve the appearance of sunken
cheeks, hollow eyes, indentations and wrinkles. Its main component is an
alpha hydroxy acid that has been used for 20 years in surgical products
such as dissolvable sutures. Results can last up to two years.
Kybella®
KYBELLA® is a nonsurgical procedure administered as a series of injections to reduce submental fat, or fat located under the chin. Submental fullness can be caused by weight gain, genetics, or aging. KYBELLA® uses synthetic deoxycholic acid to break down the fat cells and decrease the appearance of fullness below the chin. Once the full set of procedures is completed, the fat cells will have been permanently destroyed and no further treatment is expected. The amount of sessions needed to achieve optimal results varies across patients due to differences in chin profiles.
