Yearly Physical Examination & Pet Vaccinations:
We recommend annual physical exams for your pet to ensure that your pet is receiving the best medical attention and is on schedule for appropriate pet vaccinations to maintain optimal health. It is recommended that senior pets are seen twice yearly as health can quickly change in our older pets.
Dentistry:
Good oral health for your pet can result in a longer and happier life! During our yearly physical examination, we will examine your pet’s mouth for any dental issues. At our animal hospital we offer a myriad of dental services, including: oral and dental exams, cleaning, polishing, extractions, fluoride treatments, sealants and home care. Feel free to call us at any time to set up an appointment.
Diagnostic and Lab Procedures:
We provide blood and lab services, and usually provide results within 24 hours. We also have an in-house labratory and are able to get results on bloodwork within 15 minutes, this helps us to diagnose potential disease processes quickly and accurately. Our on-site x-ray machine produces high quality digital images that can be viewed and sent to specialists as needed.
Emergency Care:
We offer emergency services during normal working hours. If your pet is in need of emergency care after hours, call our main line and we will provide you instructions on how to handle the situation. Our hospital does not provide 24-hour care but we do work with a variety of emergency clinics within our area such as; Pet Emergency Center, VCA-Loomis Basin & MarQueen Pet Emergency & Specialty.
Pet Surgery Services:
With our advanced anesthetic capabilities and surgical equipment, we can guarantee safety and comfort for your pet. We specialize in pet neutering and spaying, and closely monitor each animal to appropriately address pain management. We work with many skilled board certified surgeons and can call them in to work on complex conditions including orthopedic surgeries. Hospitalization:
While your pet is in our animal hospital, we provide daily meals, monitoring, and safety. Our trained staff will communicate directly with you about your pet's progress. Our friendly staff can even give you updates and pictures via text message. We encourage you to come see your pet during our visiting hours. In the event that your pet needs 24-hour care we will work with you on finding a 24-hour hospital that best fits your pets needs.
Pharmacy:
We carry a full line of medications for your pet including vitamin and mineral supplements, shampoo and fur cleaners, flea and tick control, and heartworm medication. Additionally, we offer prescription medications that you can pick-up in clinic or can be mailed to your home by using our online pharmacy.
Physical Rehabilitation:
Our physical rehabilitation center is one-of-a-kind and the largest in Placer County! Fully equipped with two underwater treadmills, dry treadmill, balance equipment, two class IV lasers, two electrical stimulation/ultrasound combo units, rehab boarding for post-surgical treatment and 7000sqft of indoor/outdoor therapy space. Rescue & Community Outreach:
Our hospital was founded on the belief of giving back to the animal community. We are big supporters of Golden Gate Basset Rescue, Blood Hound Rescue, One More Dog Rescue, RRUFF Dog Park-Rocklin, RRUFF Healing Heroes, 4 Paws 2 Freedom, Placer SPCA and many other non-profit rescue groups. We host a variety of child education tours including local daycare centers, the Girl Scouts of America and teach classes on pet care at a local summer camp.
