Dr. Porcelli received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology cum laude from Hofstra University and his dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry , graduating in 1983. Having been born and raised on Long Island, he immediately returned and entered private practice.

From 1984-1995 Dr. Porcelli was a member of the Dental Department at Hempstead General Hospital. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nassau County Dental Society as well as serving on the Professional Liability Committee and the Council of Ethics. In addition, he was Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee and chairman of the Council on Dental Benefits at both the local and state levels. He is also a regular contributor to the Dental Society Bulletin. In 2011, Dr. Porcelli was elected President of the Nassau County Dental Society. Also in 2011 he received an award as one of the “Top Dentists” in the New York area from TopDoc New York and has continued to receive similar awards each year. Besides being a member of the American Dental Association , the New York State Dental Society and the Nassau County Dental Society , he has also been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association for Functional Orthodontics. Dr. Porcelli, in 2012, was elected as a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy (an international dental honor society) and in 2013 was elected as a fellow in the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Porcelli realizes that few people look forward to going to the dentist so he makes the experience as comfortable and as pain-free as possible and delivers that care in a calm and soothing environment. Even more unique, his office walls are adorned by the artwork he has painted himself. He attends numerous seminars and lectures to keep abreast of the most current techniques and materials available and offers his patients a wide range of dental services, from routine cleanings to full mouth reconstruction and complete cosmetic makeovers.

Dr Malhotra comes from a lineage of family dentists who have a proven record of delivering quality care to patients from all walks of life.

Dr Malhotra completed his DDS from University at Buffalo , earning his degree with distinction. One of the most coveted and intense programs around the country, the DDS at Buffalo gave Dr Tandeep the opportunity to work in an area facing a shortage of health professionals, where patients have little access to care. The unique challenges this presented prepared Dr Tandeep to anticipate the different financial realities patients encounter, yet not compromising the quality of care they receive.

After his degree, Dr Malhotra broadened his patient care experience by completing a two-year residency program at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, where he dealt delivered dental care to patient with multiple medical conditions and special needs. Dr Malhotra also engaged in research and teaching in the second year of residency, and currently continues his work as an attending doctor at the hospital.

Committed to ensuring the best possible and most comprehensive care for his patients, Dr Malhotra’s goal in his practice of dental medicine is also to ensure a pain and stress-free experience for his patients. To this end, he has worked with superior practices and colleagues at offices in New Jersey and Zen Dentistry in Manhattan, where the doctors hold this philosophy close to their heart. Dr. Vicky Dachs is a board certified general dentist. She is a graduate from New York University College of Dentistry and completed a one-year Residency at NYPQ Hospital. Becoming a dentist was an easy decision for her; both her father and brother are practicing dentists who share in her passionate dedication towards excellent patient care

Dr. Dachs is committed to providing the highest quality care for her patients while utilizing the latest dental technologies to ensure a comfortable experience with a lasting and beautiful result. With her calm demeanor and confident touch, patients are relaxed and at ease while she cares for them. Her focus is pairing world-leading academic experience with art in creating a bright and beautiful smile for every single one of her patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Dachs resides in Woodmere with her husband Jacob, and two adorable kids. She enjoys barre classes, cooking, and traveling

Dee LoSchiavo, Dental Hygienist

Dee LoSchiavo is a valuable asset to our team. As a Registered Dental Hygienist with over twenty years of experience, Dee works with us part time. She is also a graduate of the SUNY-Farmingdale hygiene program. Dee is experienced in all aspects of hygiene procedures and wants to help and teach her patients how to maintain their healthy smiles.

Marilyn Gabrish, Office Manager and Financial Coordinator

With more than ten years experience in the dental field, Marilyn is a valuable resource for questions involving insurance issues and financing. We understand how confusing insurance plans can be, and Marilyn has the depth of knowledge to communicate with your insurance company in order to resolve questions and to help maximize your benefits.

Additionally, Marilyn is well-versed in financing options available through this office and will be happy to discuss them with you.

Jane Valenti, Scheduling Coordinator

Jane has been in the dental field for almost 25 years. She has worked as a dental assistant and now is primarily at the front desk. As perhaps one of the first people you will speak with in our office, she will always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome and comfortable.

She will cheerfully and capably answer any questions you may have regarding our office, dental insurance, and scheduling appointments.
