Our schedule is designed to allow us to spend quality time with each patient. Plan on being at our office for about 2 hours for your first visit. We would like to really get to know you, as our patient. We will be gathering a lot of information from you, collecting data and images in order to give you a thorough diagnosis and therefore give you the most informed treatment options.
Our goal is to provide our patients the treatment options that are ideal for preserving and improving the oral health and quality of life for our patients.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with as much notice as possible, with a minimum of two (2) business days’ notice. Our office does not accept changes in appointments after hours by voice mail, you must call during our normal business hours. This courtesy on your part will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient who needs to see the dentist or hygienist.
What to bring:
- Your photo ID or drivers liscense
- Your insurance card, if applicable
- Payment as previously discussed
- A list of questions or concerns
- AND any oral applicances you have
What To Expect: Your initial comprehensive oral examination includes a hard tissue exam, oral cancer screening, smile analysis, periodontal assessment, TMJ and occlusal assessment, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take photos of your teeth in addition to x-rays, which includes the necessary images for proper diagnosis of decay, periodontal disease and other potential lesions or abnormalities. Let us know as soon as possible if you have recent x-rays with a previous dentist that we may request.
Plan on being here 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on the complexity of your oral health.

I'm giving Dr. Quimby a 5 star review only because this review format doesn't provide an option for 10 stars. I have great confidence in her dentistry skills. She really cares about her patients, as does her entire staff. At my last visit, I had several cavities that had to be filled, one unfortunately located under an existing crown that had to be removed. Although it was a somewhat long and complicated procedure, I felt absolutely no pain. The motto of Dr. Quimby's practice is "We cater to cowards." This coward certainly felt catered to!
Amanda is very thorough and gentle. Extremely patient with me and explains everything she is doing and the purpose for it. Would not want anyone else to take care of me.
