Welcome to the office of Dr. Joseph B. Dankey!
When you arrive at the office, you will notice a computer monitor directly inside the front door. Please follow the directions for computer check-in, then proceed to our receptionist and introduce yourselves! We will be waiting to begin the examination! If you do not have the opportunity to brush your teeth prior to your appointment, we do have a fully stocked tooth brushing station for you to use. If your dentist has recently taken a panoramic x-ray, it would be helpful if you could bring it to this examination.
This initial examination is a complimentary visit. Dr. Dankey will do a routine dental examination and will show you exactly what he sees that might need potential orthodontic treatment. If treatment is optional or not necessary at this time, Dr. Dankey will explain that as well. If treatment is indicated at this time, our treatment coordinator will have an opportunity to discuss the next steps prior to initiating orthodontic treatment. You may begin by taking records that day as we all know how valuable your time is. She will also share with you an estimate of the treatment fee and the finance options available. If you have dental insurance with orthodontic benefits, we will help you determine the impact of insurance on your fee and will submit a pre-determination claim for you.
