Advice for expecting parents:

Every baby is different and does not always follow the textbooks. Be prepared as much as you can prior to his or her arrival, find a pediatrician you feel comfortable with asking questions to but know that most of your learning will start once your baby arrives.

Advice for new parents:

Always trust your intuition because you know your baby better than anyone else, and you will know when something just isn't right.

Advice for parents of teenagers:

Being a teenager's parent can be very difficult. With expanding use of social media, they experience many more challenging situations at earlier ages. Give them room to learn to make decisions on their own but keep an open line of communication to help guide them along the way.
