IV Therapy

Intravenous (IV) therapy is a method of delivering infused vitamins, minerals, and amino acids for vitamin deficiency. When a person takes an oral nutritional supplement, usually 20-30% of the nutrients are absorbed. However, intravenous administration achieves higher concentrations in the blood that are not possible when taken by mouth. Many patients may also suffer from intolerance and malabsorption of nutrients from poor diet and/or long term damage due to internal/external pollutants. IV therapy bypasses the problem of poor absorption in the GI tract, thereby delivering the necessary nutrients to the body without losing any retention.

IV formulas vary from patient to patient due to each ones deficiencies and/or degenerative conditions:

Common ingredients found in IV solutions:

AMINO ACIDS such as Arginine, Carnitine, Glutamine, Glycine, Lysine, Choline, and Taurine

VITAMINS such as B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6, B7 (biotin), B9 folic acid, and B12 (methyl cobalamin).

ANTIOXIDANTS such as Vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Glutathione, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), and Coenzyme Q10

MINERALS such as Zinc, Magnesium, Copper, Selenium, Calcium and Chromium.

Depending on the patient, a baseline testing of a Comprehensive Blood Panel , Micronutrients , Omega 3 Fatty Acids , DNA Insight , Food and Inhalant Allergies , and DNA Insight will determine if IV therapy is beneficial to helping the individual with their particular condition.
