A few people have asked why I chose a pineapple in our logo. The pineapple is a symbol to express that a guest is welcome. It came from a time when pineapples were hard to come by in North America, and the host had to go to great lengths to get one. It became a way to show a guest how much they were appreciated. While we don't hand out pineapples to our patients, we do try to go to great lengths to show that each patient is appreciated.
