Dr. Allen completed her residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida, upon receiving her medical degree in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an undergrad, she attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in Neuroscience.
Dr. Allen specializes in foot and ankle surgery and the treatment of all foot and ankle conditions, such as:
- Ankle pain and weakness
- Bunions and hammertoes
- Children’s foot issues
- Diabetic foot problems, including ulcers and wounds
- Foot and ankle injuries
- Flat feet
- Heel pain, including Plantar Fasciitis
- Ingrown toenail removal
- Numbness in feet
Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with her dog, Molly, as well as traveling the world (she recently visited Machu Picchu in Peru!), hiking, kayaking, photography, and running half-marathons. She is enjoying meeting patients and establishing herself here in the Roanoke area, and being involved in the community that she now calls home.
