Our physicians, Dr. Peter Blume, D.P.M. and Dr. Charlot are both board certified in podiatric orthopedics and podiatric surgery. Dr. Peter Blume has been recognized 5 times as one of “Connecticut’s Top Docs” by Connecticut Magazine.

As a podiatric practice, our physicians received conventional medical training plus special training on the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Our doctors are well trained in foot and ankle surgery, and are experts in delivering care for complex foot disorders suffered by diabetic patients as well as common foot problems including bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis (heel pain) and shin splints.

Dr. James H. Blume founded Affiliated Foot and Ankle Surgeons over 59 years ago. He has since become renowned in his field for providing patients with exceptional podiatric care.
