Skin Rejuvenation
- Palomar IPL Pigmentation and Vascularity Treatment - Intense Pulsed light treatments ("IPL") uses a spectrum of visible light to target pigmentation and vascular lesions. Often referred to as a "photofacial," the broadband light enters the skin and targets dark spots and or vascularity, allowing for a brighter and more even skin tone. Photofacial treatments are about 45 to 60 minutes long and require minimal downtime. For best results, we recommend three to five treatments.
- Palomar 1540 Non-Ablative Fractionated Resurfacing - The 1540 non-ablative resurfacing treatment improves fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, pore size, and uneven skin tone. This treatment is less invasive because only a fraction of the tissue is treated. The 1540 selectively treats the dermal tissue, sparing the epidermis while allowing for new cell turnover. Results develop gradually over time and can be evaluated over a series of treatments.
- SmartXide Dot Fractional CO2 Laser - CO2 has long been considered the gold standard for treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. It involves a fractionated delivery system to instantly heat and vaporize the deeper layers of the skin. CO2 laser stimulates collagen, improves skin laxity and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Compared to other laser treatments, the recovery time is typically longer, but only one or two treatments are needed.
- Lutronic Clarity (suitable for darker skin tones) - The dual wavelength platform Lutronic Clarity offers a 755 nm Alexandrite and Long pulsed 1064 nm Nd:Yag. The Clarity offers a variety of treatment options including pigmented lesions, wrinkle reduction, rosacea, and hemangiomas. This system involves hybrid cooling, leaving you with a quick and comfortable treatment. This machine is unique because it allows us to safely treat patients with darker skin tones.
- Micro-needling - Micro-needling is also known as collagen induction therapy. It involves multiple micro-needles that create fine channels on the skin. It increases collagen production with little to no down time. Micro-needling can be used to treat aged skin, enlarged pores, and scars (acne, surgical, burns). Because the treatment promotes new collagen growth, results are seen soon after and in the forthcoming two months. Your skin will look refreshed, rejuvenated and younger overall.
Dilated blood vessels
- Candela V-Beam Perfecta - The V- Beam Perfecta is a pulse dye laser for precise treatment of vascular lesions on the face and body. The precision, in which the V-beam is used, ultimately minimizes the thermal damage to surrounding tissue or other structures. V-beam is highly effective for treatment of port wine stains, superficial hemangiomas, poikiloderma civatte, Rosacea, telangiectasia and cherry angiomas. The total number of treatments may vary depending on the diagnosis.
Hair Removal
- Palomar IPL Hair Removal - Working in the same fashion as the photofacial, the spectrum of light will target dark colored hair and travel down the hair shaft, absorbing into the root (hair follicle) and ultimately destroying the stem cells responsible for hair production. Treatments are spaced according to the area being treated, as it is essential to treat when the hair is in its active hair growth cycle. Safe and effective for light to medium tone skin types.
- Lutronic Clarity (suitable for darker skin tones) - The dual wavelength platform Lutronic Clarity offers a 755 nm Alexandrite and Long pulsed 1064 nm Nd:Yag for removal of unwanted hair for all skin types, including those with darker skin. The Clarity offers a superior cooling system for increased comfort. The Hybrid Cooling system, along with the multiple spot sizes to choose from, ensures a comfortable and quick treatment of many skin concerns. Number of treatments is determined by skin concern and skin type.
