Meet Your Doctors

Dr. Robert A. Bunn is a native of Virginia and a 1985 graduate from Tulane University and Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry. In between Mardi Gras, New Orleans Jazz Festivals and other distractions, Dr. Bunn graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Bunn practiced in his own private practice in Manassas, Virginia from 1989 to 2005. He then took a sabbatical to persue real estate development. Three years later, in 2008, Dr. Bunn returned to dentistry as a locum tenens practitioner until settling in Lynchburg where he purchased Dr. Michael Parker's practice in 2012. He lives in Lynchburg with his wife Kathy and two Hoodny dachshund dogs, Beau and Bella.

Dr. Robert Bunn is active in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Bunn continues to enhance his knowledge through post-doctoral continuing education courses. He is certified in Dental Sedation through coursework and clinical rotation through Augusta Regents University in Georgia.

Dr. Robert Bunn is committed to doing annual pro bono work through the Medical Mission of Mercy USA, which does annual Medical and Dental Missions in underserved countries around the globe including the Philipines and Honduras.
