Digital X-Rays
At Wilder Dentistry, we use digital x-rays which reduce patient exposure to radiation by 80-90%. This technique uses an electronic sensor instead of traditional x-ray film. This sensor instantly captures and stores detailed digital images onto a computer.
Within moments, you and Dr. Wilder will be able to view the images of your gums, teeth, and bones on a nearby monitor. He can enlarge any part of the image to gather more information, and to make it easier for you to understand your needs. Digital x-rays result in more accurate diagnoses and highly effective treatments.
Digital x-rays can uncover all kinds of problems that may go unnoticed by the doctor and patient during a quick look at the teeth. It is important that we detect these problems early so that your treatment can be affordable, painless, and successful.
Dental Cone Beam CT
When regular x-rays are not sufficient, we can also use a Cone Beam CT scan to produce 3D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone. There’s little to no special preparation for this type of scan.
This can be used in preparation for dental surgery or implant placement, diagnosing joint disorders or jaw tumors, and locating the origin of pain.
Telescopic Loupe
Telescopic loupes are binocular-like devices that attach to the front rim of your dentist’s glasses. Telescopic loupes allow Dr. Wilder to discover detailed information about your oral health that may go unnoticed in a traditional exam.
Dr. Wilder has years of experience identifying disease and decay, but no dentist can see everything with a basic visual inspection. Some fractures and cavities are microscopic, so the assistance of the telescopic loupe is needed.
We can use the telescopic loupe for exams and various procedures. This technology ensures that your results are flawless.
Paperless Charting
your important records. X-rays, charting, and notes are all in one convenient location, and are accessible to you and your dentist at the press of a button.
Benefits of paperless charting include:

Electronic Claims
Electronic claims processing means that we send your dental claim electronically to your insurance company, instead of through the mail. Within seconds, your electronic claim is submitted. The insurance company can respond promptly so you can get the affordable treatments that you need.
That means you’ll get a faster turnaround and fewer errors on your claims.
Claims, billing, and records are some of the things that can make dental work so frustrating. Our team tracks all of these things electronically so they are at your disposal at the touch of a button. Now there’s no more confusion and no more waiting.
