About Strategic Psychological Services

After over 35 years in private practice and working extensively with individuals, families, schools and businesses, Dr. Louis Turchetta brought a team of highly qualified clinicians together into one facility and founded Strategic Psychological Services (SPS) in January 2014. With his varied experiential background in the field of psychology, Dr. Louis Turchetta utilizes the latest and most effective evidence-based psychological counseling techniques to empower his clients to change their worldview including Teletherapy.

Located in Warwick, Rhode Island Strategic Psychological Services offers adult, child, marriage, and family counseling as well as diagnostic mental health assessments and consultations. Specialty services include parenting classes, weight management programs and treatment for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD Testing, addiction and more.

    Dr. Lou Turchetta is a psychologist with more than 35 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety and depression. Lou uses an evidenced based, eclectic approach which focuses on helping people to understand themselves and find a better path to a fulfilling lifestyle. In addition, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to his couples counseling. As a certified Gottman Couples Therapist and EFT trained psychologist, he brings these evidence-based treatments to his work with couples.
