Laser Gum Treatment-Non-surgical

Gum Disease is the most prevalent disease in mankind! Half of the adults 40 or older have gum disease! Even Dr. Charles Mayo, founder of the Famous Mayo Clinic, said almost one hundred years ago… those who keep their mouths healthy, live an average of 10 years longer than people who don’t keep their mouths healthy.

We have known for years that there was a connection between the health of the mouth and the health of the heart. Live oral bacteria have been found in the heart and vessels by cardiologists doing heart catherizations. We now know that the gum disease can be a causative factor in over 200 chronic diseases as the oral proteins and toxins can travel via the bloodstream to affect every organ, tissue and cell in the body.

Gum Disease is an auto-immune disease that is influenced greatly by the health of our immune systems. When infected/inflamed gums bleed, the bacteria and proteins present in the mouth, travel through bleeding spots in the gums and enter the blood stream. Once in the bloodstream, they can settle and grow in almost every part of the body!

This infection/inflammation in the mouth starts a process that is a causative agent in all chronic disease!

So, we now have evidence that gum disease helps to start Diabetes, Heart attack, Stroke, Alzheimer’s, Liver and Kidney Disease, Birth Defects, low birth weight and pre-term babies, etc... In 2009, the first case of fetal demise was attributed to the gum disease of the mother.

A holistic attack on the auto-immune disease sometimes called Gum Disease, Periodontal Disease, or Pyorrhea, includes Laser Therapy (non-surgical) along with improvements in nutritional and homecare regimens, and can actually eradicate the disease that for over 70 years, we have only been able to moderate.
