VIGI, LLC is fully accredited to perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures at our medical office inside the Paragon Medical Building.
Our in-office endoscopy suite is equipped with the newest technology, and meets the standards of The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF). Our doctors work with an in-house team of nurses and a board certified anesthesiologist to administer endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures inside the suite.
The endoscopy suite is accredited under the AAAASF’s procedural program, which is designed for ambulatory facilities performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures under sedation. The AAAASF has been inspecting and accrediting ambulatory surgery facilities for 35 years and is the gold standard for accreditation. The organization’s mission is to develop and implement standards of excellence to ensure the highest quality of patient safety. An AAAASF member inspected our endoscopy suite, our protocols and our staffing, and determined that our facility meets 100% of the standards required for accreditation. The AAAASF is the largest non-for-profit accrediting organization in the United States and has accredited more than 2200 ambulatory surgery facilities nationwide.
