Dr. Emilio Cabana Takes Medical Mission Trip to the Philippines
Emilio Cabana M.D. traveled to the Philippines in early 2014 for a medical mission.
As part of their mission, they were given an opportunity to visit Samar province, a region directly affected by the Typhoon Haiyan. Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines on November 2013 killing 6,000 people making it one of the strongest storms ever recorded. The volunteers witnessed first-hand the devastating destruction of the typhoon.
The group plans to return in the near future to continue their work in the region.
