Doctors and Staff

Dr. Maxson grew up in Jackson, MI. He graduated in 1997 from Alma College earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) as a double major in Chemistry and Biology. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association (ADA), Central District Dental Society (CDDS), American College of Dentists (ACD),Francis B. Vedder Crown and Bridge Society, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has held many positions and chaired several committee's within organized dentistry over the years. He has studied for many years at the Pankey Institute and has completed many continuums (C1, C2, C3, EIII, EIV, Aesthetics).

Dr. Maxson and his wife Jessicca have 3 daughters and 2 black and tan coonhounds. They enjoy the outdoors together, attending their kids activities, and traveling. They love the variety Michigan has to offer. 

Tera grew up in the small town of Ovid and graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with honors. She joined the team in July 2017 working as a dental assistant perusing to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

Tera enjoys helping others and will go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s experience is nothing short of positive.

She is a proud dog mom to two amazing dogs who are her pride and joy.

Tera loves spending time outdoors longboarding, fishing and exploring new sites. She also has a passion for baking and cooking for her family and loved ones.

Corrie grew up in Grand Ledge, MI. She began work here in 2005 after her graduation from the Dental Hygiene program at LCC. Corrie enjoys connecting with her patients and building meaningful relationships with them. She especially has a lot of fun seeing children.

Corrie is married and has two young children. She enjoys watching them play sports, family bike rides and spending time up north at their family cabin in the summer. Corrie also enjoys an occasional girls night or weekend with her close group of girlfriends.

Kelsey grew up in Saginaw, MI. She graduated from Delta College in 2014 with her degree in dental hygiene. She spent a few years in Port Huron, and is new to the Lansing area. Kelsey especially enjoys getting to know patients and making sure that they have a good experience at the dentist.

Kelsey is married and has one dog, a golden retriever named Bud. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors.

Chelsey grew up in the Lansing area. She began working in the orthodontic field as a treatment coordinator in South Carolina and joined our practice in 2017. She has lived in multiple cities within the last 10 years due to her husband’s service in the Marine Corps. She loves working with people as one of our office administrators.

Chelsey is married with two children. She enjoys going to concerts, fishing, hiking, camping and watching movies with her family.

Jessica grew up in Clark Lake, MI. She started a career as an educator for Aveda Institutes and became an independent Cosmetologist in the later years. After 17 years in the cosmetology industry she devoted more of her time to the family business here at Maxson Dental. You may find Jessica doing the bookkeeping, working at the front desk and even mowing the lawn. She and Dr. Maxson have 3 daughters that also help out behind the scenes here at the office. When they are away from the business they enjoy spending time outdoors and taking adventures.
