The benefits of digital X-rays are that we use less radiation, there is no waiting time for the radiographs to be developed, and the digital images are easy to enhance for better viewing. Without an actual film to develop, we also eliminate the need for developing chemicals in our office. Our office uses digital intraoral and 2D panoramic X-ray technology.
