Your first visit to Jeffrey A. Harris, D.D.S. involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you and become familiar with your oral health.
Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth. If time allows, and if you so desire, we can also clean your teeth at this first visit.
If your first visit with us is emergency in nature, we will take care of the problem first, and schedule you for a return visit for your initial oral examination.
Being well-prepared for your first appointment will ensure that Dr. Harris has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you.
