Apicoectomy (Endodontic Surgery)

An apicoectomy is a short and simple surgical procedure that occasionally follows endodontic treatment (root canal therapy). When an infection does not dissipate, or returns after a root canal has been performed, an apicoectomy is sometimes necessary.
