Sealants

sealants

A sealant is a thin plastic coating placed on the chewing surface of molars and pre-molars to prevent tooth decay. Sealant bonds into the depressions and grooves of the teeth, forming a protective shield over the enamel of each tooth.

Sealants are a great preventive measure and should be placed as soon after a tooth erupts as possible.
